Pretty engraving in the background representing a Flower characteristic of this Bureau de Mantes. Hallmark of Maison Commune for MANTES 1756-74 (Crowned B, half a fleur-de-lis and an oak branch) and Hallmark of the Master Goldsmith Catherine DE LORME Widow of Pierre-Robert GAUDRON who took over from her husband who died in 1750. Rare wine taster from the Bureau de Mantes in very good condition and well hallmarked, with a very beautiful engraving in the background, exceptional size with its 123.6 grams, beautiful patina and micro-scratches of use.
