Designed by the artist Rouard for Maison Haviland, the Vieux Paris Vert collection is inspired by the decorations of Parisian factories of the late 18th century, most often made of garlands of leaves gilded, laurel wreaths and blue and ruby cornflowers. A raised green shagreen ribbon and two gold lines decorated with wolf teeth complete this graceful and particularly well-balanced composition. Vieux Paris Vert is characteristic of the decorations that made Limoges porcelain famous in the 20th century.
