Original gilding, bright, uniform and in very good condition, without restoration. Original patinated bronze base preserved. Total height: 17.5 cm. Exceptional state of preservation, gilding and patina intact. This type of Napoleonic bust, very popular in the 19th century, often adorned offices, libraries and display cases as a tribute to imperial glory. Copies of this size with well-preserved original gilding have become rare and sought after by collectors.
