Pierre-Narcisse, Baron Guérin, born March 13, 1774 in Paris and died July 6, 1833 in Rome, was a French neoclassical painter. A member of the Institut, he was director of the Villa Medici in Rome.

Preserved in its original frame, protected by their antique tile; photos taken with tiles.


Same copy in original as the one kept at the Bibliothèque Nationale de France.

To fully reveal its decorative quality, this engraving is presented in a custom-made gallery frame in a sober, elegant neoclassical spirit.

The print, however, remains preserved with its original antique frame - accompanied by its antique glass - which will naturally be returned with the work at the sale.
