"Derby Porcelain Shaker Cup"
England did not lag behind in the race to manufacture porcelain. From the beginning of the 18th century, Derby was a famous production center for its statuettes. Production continued throughout the 19th century with pieces in the 18th century style. This trembleuse cup is part of this traditional manufacture. It is called trembleuse because of its two handles intended to allow an elderly person to use it without risk. It has a lid to keep the drink warm. We must point out slight small defects (firing?), otherwise no fels and beautiful cream enamel.
