Fairly large travel box 37x15.5x11cm and with a rather original and unusual pyramidal shape. The box is made of wood covered with leather decorated with geometric patterns and small irons in the shape of beech leaves, France, 17th century. The box therefore measures 37cm in width, 11cm in depth and 15.5cm in height. Pretty ornate lock. The interior has lost its original paper and lining. There are traces of a later/recent lining. Some small losses of leather at the angles, edges and corners and some consolidations to the leather, however good condition and small ironwork.
