"Antique Asian Umbrella Handle - Chinese Dragon"
Antique umbrella handle, finely decorated in relief with an imperial dragon moving among the clouds. The top is adorned with the character 福 (happiness, prosperity) and the side features the character 壽 (longevity), both enhanced with gilding. Carefully crafted in the Chinese tradition of the late 19th – early 20th century, this collector's item measures approximately 21 cm in length. The material probably appears to be silver (untested), with a beautiful old patina. A maker's stamp can also be seen on the socket. Very good condition, authentic and decorative piece, classic symbol of "happiness and longevity".
