"Miniature Micromosaic Frame, Italy, 20th Century."
Elegant, fretwork-shaped frame in brass, entirely decorated with a hand-crafted polychrome micromosaic. The finely executed decoration represents a floral garland composed of red, blue, white, and yellow flowers on a blue-green background. The tesserae are carefully crafted and demonstrate quality craftsmanship. On the reverse, the frame is equipped with an easel foot made of twisted brass wire. Very good overall condition; the mosaic is intact. Some traces of oxidation are visible on the back, without affecting stability or presentation. Dimensions: 9.5 × 14 cm.
