"Cracked Ceramic Vase With Relief Decoration, China"
Imposing Chinese ceramic vase, with crackled glaze, richly decorated in polychrome relief. The decoration represents a bird perched among peonies and stylized foliage, in shades of blue enhanced with ochre and green shades, in the great tradition of Chinese ceramics. The lip is reinforced by an old metal mount, from an old restoration. Traces of restoration are also visible at the bottom of the piece. Height: 45 cm
