Pendulum "religious" cabinet inlaid tortoiseshell turtle red, ebony, brass and gilt bronze. Beautiful architecture of the cabinet, front door flanked by two bronze pilasters topped with Corinthian capitals. Bronze dial with enamelled plates hours. plated dome of red tortoiseshell and brass, detached from the body by a baluster gallery gilt bronze. His Movement signed on the back deck and the front of Nicolas Gribelin. Paris. Eopque Louis XVII original movement, complete with its échapement on wheel, suspension wire. In parfairt working. cleaning spécialistel. Gribelin Nicolas, born in Blois in 1637, was appointed Bishop of Watchmaking Grand Dauphin in Paris in 1674
