Plate with the miquelet decorated with chiseled brass. The lock spring is missing. Wooden stock inlaid with cylindrical elements in brass and bone (or ivory). The wood is also decorated with cut silver plates set with red coral cabochons. European barrel with sides in the first third then round to the muzzle. The barrel is held to the wood by seven rings in chased and embossed silver. A weapon of fine quality and a fine testimony to the conquest of Algeria by France.
