A large-caliber, side-by-side percussion shotgun - Mid-19th century. This shotgun is of imposing dimensions and a large caliber (muzzle diameter approximately 19mm), specially adapted for hunting ducks or wood pigeons. Beautifully crafted with fine wood. Functional mechanism. The barrels were made in Liège by the gunsmith E. Bernard. Marked on the top in gold lettering "ribans fins" (fine ribbons). Ramrod missing. Length 127cm, Barrel length 85cm, Muzzle diameter approximately 19mm, Weight 3500g
