Fine Oval Miniature Painting, Young Woman, Empire Clothing, Early 19th Century

Very pretty little painting, on natural material from the period. Oval format, this elegant miniature represents the portrait of Jeanne Sevelinges, married to Monsieur Chignard in 1741. It surely reproduces the portrait of this lady from a bygone era, since at the time of painting she is wearing a classic outfit from the Empire period.
Beautiful gilt brass frame decorated with palmettes, both backs are marked with this information, outer border serving as a copper reinforcement, beautiful quality of painting and framing.
Excellent condition, no break or flaw.
European working, probably French, dating from the first part of the 19th century, Circa 1800.
