Porcelain Covered Cup, First Half Of The 19th Century

Elegant lidded cup in painted and gilt porcelain, attributable to the Imperial Vienna manufactory, dating from the first quarter of the 19th century.
The surface features a refined acid-green ground, enriched with fine gold decoration. The handles are adorned with applied female mascarons, highlighted with gilding.
On the front is a delicate monochrome allegorical scene, titled L’Innocence, depicting a winged putto and a child tenderly kissing, accompanied by two doves, symbols of purity and love. This type of decoration reflects the Viennese neoclassical and sentimental taste of the late 18th and early 19th centuries, often inspired by engravings and allegorical motifs.
Underside with impressed marks (40, 120, 822), likely referring to turner, painter, and year of production.
