"Pierced Porcelain Bowl In Blue And Gold With Apocryphal Qianlong Seal – China, Early 20th Centu"
Elegant oval pierced porcelain bowl, decorated with cobalt blue glaze and refined gilded floral motifs. The pierced band, with its striking decorative effect, recalls the patterns of the so-called "famille rose" tradition. The underside bears an apocryphal red-painted seal mark stating “Made during the reign of Qianlong” (1735–1796), applied for decorative purposes. This piece is most likely a Chinese production from the early decades of the 20th century, intended for the Western market.
A highly decorative object, suitable for both collectors and eclectic interior decoration.
