Attribution or the entourage of Jean-Louis de MARNE. 20th century wooden frame. Jean-Louis DE MARNE, artist born in Belgium (1752 - 1829), sometimes spelled Demarne or Demarnette, is a French genre painter and engraver. He was inspired by colleagues such as Nicolas Antoine Taunay and Jean-Frederic Schall, Dutch painters in vogue in Paris.
