Cartel Louis XIV With Its Console Wall
Small cartel in tortoiseshell veneer, brass marquetry, inlays of mother-of-pearl, pewter, green and red horn. Decorations in foliage, scrolls and acanthus leaves. Rich decorations in gilded bronze with birds. Gilded bronze dial with twelve cartridges in white enamel with blue Roman numerals. The hat is surmounted by a singing cock. The cul de lamp has the distinction of having engraved tortoiseshell acanthus leaves instead of usually in bronze. BRAILLARD signed wire movement in Besançon. There is no original ring system.
