18th Century Flemish Animated Landscape
Oil on panel depicting a woman tending her sheep at the edge of a waterfall, attributed to Isaac de MOUCHERON. Annotated on the back "Moucheron". Panel dimensions: 24 x 18.5 cm. Molded gilt wood frame. Isaac de Moucheron (Amsterdam 1667/70 - 1744) was a Dutch painter, draftsman and engraver. His activity took place in Amsterdam (1687-1694), in France (1694-1695), in Bologna and Rome in Italy (1695-1697) and again in Amsterdam (1697-1744).
