A very pretty painting depicting a lively mountain landscape. The colors are soft and very pleasing. It is signed Vernon in the lower right corner and dated 92 for 1892. On the side of the stretcher is inscribed "sugar loaf mountains" and "glaslyn valley." Our landscape is probably a view of the Glaslyn Valley and its river of the same name, located in County Gwynedd in North Wales. Sold unframed. Dimensions: height 30.7 cm, length 51 cm.
