Large Louis XIII - Louis XIV Style Armchair, Wide And High Back, Herringbone Pattern Fabric

Very beautiful Louis XIII - Louis XIV style armchair, resting on four turned baluster legs and connected together by an H-shaped spacer bar and a high front crosspiece also turned in baluster. The backrest is wide and high, it is slightly inclined outwards thus providing great seating comfort. The armrests are in crosiers, the ends are decorated with an acanthus leaf and finished with a scroll. The supports are in baluster. The seat has been redone recently, it is firm and very comfortable. The covering fabric is also in very good condition with a beautiful studded finish. Note, a small lack on the end of a crosier at the level of a rosette (see photo.) Also note that a small pompom is missing on the finishing braid at the level of the connecting die of the front left foot, (see photo) without any influence on the aesthetics of our seat. Our armchair is a beautiful 19th century production in solid walnut, waxed and patinated.
