Indian Nyishi warrior hornbill hat, 19th/20th century. A fine example of a warrior headdress from the remote tribal regions of northeastern India, woven from rattan strips, which have acquired a beautiful patina. The hat is decorated with a hornbill beak segment and a feather. Condition: Good overall condition. Dimensions: H 15 x W 26.5 x D 16.5 cm.
