The attributes of the Empire are admirably painted: the lyre, the sphinxes, the green olive crown, all on a wine-colored background.
As handles, two golden chimeras stand out from each vase.
Characteristic of the Dagoty house in Paris, a superb garland of white biscuit flowers adorns the rim of the vases in relief.
It is a remarkable technique where the artisan-artist placed petal by petal.
Depending on the season, one of the two sides of the vases was oriented: in spring/summer: open flower petals, and in autumn/winter: closed flower petals.
The brilliant gilding that adorns these two vases is remarkably executed and preserved.
The base of the vases is in white porcelain.
Under the vases, a very discreet signature in the shape of an 8 can be seen, which probably corresponds to one of the artisans (painter, gilder or sculptor).
Dimensions: Total height 25 cm. Square base of 8 cm on each side.
The vases are in perfect condition, no cracks or chips.
