Dimensions: Total height with base: 14 cm Length from head to tail: 13 cm
Beautiful specimen from an old naturalist collection. Ideal to decorate a cabinet of curiosities or any naturalia collection. Feathers in good condition, stable specimen. Passer domesticus is not subject to any protection status and is exempt from any ban on sale in accordance with the regulations (Specimen Not Listed in CITES).
- Remarks: Two characteristic points distinguish it from the tree sparrow (which is CITES): The top of the head (the crown) is gray in the domestic (and brown in the friquet with small black commas on the cheeks, these are also the simplest ways to differentiate them); and the black expanse of the belly runs and ends speckled from the beak to the bottom of the breastbone in the domestic (and stops briefly at the bottom of the neck in the friquet).
