Description:
Serge Belloni, nicknamed "The Painter of Paris," devoted his artistic life to capturing the timeless essence of Paris and Venice. Day after day, in all weather, he immortalized the ever-changing faces of the City of Light and the City of the Doges.
In this striking painting of the Moulin de la Galette (or Moulin Blute-Fin), Belloni depicts an autumn or early winter scene. The bare trees allow him to reveal the architecture and soul of Paris in a unique light.
