François Crabit (xxᵉ) Marine View On Dune – 1982 Pastel Monogrammed Lower Right Fc

This delicate pastel illustrates the sensitive and atmospheric style of François Crabit, an artist attached to the landscapes of the Southwest coast. In a refined composition, the artist captures a marine view from a dune: a wide, clear beach opens onto the sea, barely outlined by touches of blue and green.
