Eugène Marioton (1857-1933) - French sculptor, student of Auguste Dumont at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. He regularly exhibited his works at the French Salons and notably won the first prize of the Société Libre des Beaux-Arts in 1883. He specialized in relief sculpture inspired by mythological and historical literature.
