Rare summer dress in openwork cotton net embroidered with vermillion red cotton thread dating from the First Restoration. Wide balloon sleeves tightened by an original cotton tie, as does the neckline which ties in the back. Very high waist and conical skirt whose full volume is at the back. Three rows of matching scalloped cotton flounces. Fairly loose embroidery of vermillion flower garlands adorns the bottom of the skirt. Original hook closure in the back. Naturally fragile to handling, small repairs to note under the armpits, one or two tiny repairs. Otherwise very good structural condition.
Dimensions: Equivalent to French size 34-35. Waist 59 cm, chest 75 cm, sleeves 16 cm, skirt height in front 110 cm.
