This elegant 18th century two-door display case is in the Louis XV-Louis XVI transitional style. Marble top with original gray breccia (a skillful restoration). Sides with cut sides with bronze falls and lemon tree fillets in the frame. Side in rosewood veneered in herringbone with Greek frames, vertical section band. The elegant doors in pure Louis XVI style have frames and Greeks in the corners, low crosspiece animated in apron decorated with a bronze fall, curved feet decorated with encompassing chiseled bronze shoes, typical of the transitional style. Corner of the display cases with projection and decorated with Greek in lemon tree fillets and light wood, discreet bronze hinges; interior covered with a beautiful purplish red patterned fabric for three, bottoms and sides trimmed in the same way, plus a 4th shelf in natural wood at the base. This display case locks both doors with its keys and the tab that fits into the lock. In good original condition, this display case was in the living room of a Château du Tarn; it is beautiful, practical and elegant, a healthy piece of furniture with strong decorative and functional value.
