ADRIAN HELMET OF A SAPPER OF THE ENGINEERS, model 1915, First World War. 28454RSteel helmet equipped with a slightly oval spherical bomb, a visor and a neck cover; top of the crest equipped laterally with two ventilation slits. Sky blue paint covered with a layer of paint applied with a brush in a matte and dark shade, some light strokes and losses. Front insignia in stamped and cut metal representing a breastplate with the initials "RF", French Republic surmounted by the pot-en-tête. Cap of the second type, made of two pieces of sheepskin, with six wolf teeth, each pierced with an eyelet for the passage of the tightening lace. Headband of worn sky blue fabric, lined with its four corrugated aluminum strips placed against the shell. Chin strap in fawn goatskin. France. First World War. Good to very good condition.
