Silombria draws on Greek mythology with the postmodern awareness of its theatricality, carnality, and narrative power. His line is sharp and essential, celebrating the male figure as an icon, where classical heritage intersects with pop legacy.

This work on paper belongs to the “Dionysian” series, linked to Silombria’s ceramic production in Albissola during the 1980s. The dark background, central figure, and dynamic energy echo his sculptural works, united by a shared tension between eros and form.
