Louis XV period Arbalète chest of drawers in marquetry of noble woods from the 18th century. High quality cabinetmaking for this magnificent piece of furniture dating from the middle of the 18th century. Opens on the front by 3 large drawers abundantly moved. The locks are original. The pull handles and keyholes in gilded bronze are characterized by a relief decoration depicting female figures in oval frames with a ribboned knot. The top and sides are also marquetry. The whole rests on a curved and fretted crosspiece. The 4 legs are arched with animal endings (feet of birds of prey seizing eggs).
