This vase is a fine example of high-end export Kutani porcelain produced for Western markets at the end of the 19th century. The style is noted for its delicate linework and restrained opulence, with subtle gilt detailing and less heavy enamel than more commercial wares. Comparable examples are in major museum collections and have appeared at international auctions. Condition: Excellent antique condition.
