Pair of 19th century porcelain vases in the style of Jacob Petit.
Vases featuring the chinoiserie theme with a neat decoration of exotic flowers and birds distributed in a checkerboard pattern.
The handles are in the shape of swan necks.
The gilding is in good condition.
One of these two vases has been restored a long time ago between the base and the belly, at the thread level.

The flower and bird decorations stand out against black, coral and rust backgrounds, which are very colorful and create a beautiful contrast.
The cut-out and serrated shape recalls the chinoiserie fashion still in vogue in the middle of the 19th century.
