Silver-plated bronze and mirrored centrepiece, signed BaccaratElegant oval centrepiece in finely chiseled and silver-plated bronze, resting on four openwork legs decorated with stylized acanthus leaves, in the style of the Louis XVI. The apron has a molded decoration, highlighting the finesse of the metalwork. The top consists of an original mirror, perfectly adjusted, which brings depth and luminosity to the whole.The reverse of the top reveals the engraved and stamped signature "BACCARAT", identifiable by the famous circular stamp of the crystal factory, adorned with the carafe, glass and goblet emblematic of the house.Both decorative and utilitarian, this centrepiece was intended to adorn large reception tables, serving as a base for a composition of candelabras, vases or fruit baskets. The quality of execution, the harmonious proportions and the materials used confirm a production from the end of the 19th century or the very beginning of the 20th century, a time when the Baccarat house also distinguished itself by the manufacture of artistic bronzes, alongside its famous crystal production.
