19th Century Mahogany Collector's Box

Elegant collector's or workshop chest in solid mahogany, both understated and refined. The front, concealed by a lockable flap, reveals a series of seven dovetailed drawers, each equipped with brass pull handles. The inside of the top lid can also be used as a display or work surface. The cabinet rests on a molded base and has recessed brass side handles, reminiscent of naval chests or high-end expedition furniture. It is an ideal setting for storing drawings, engravings, stones, coins, jewelry or other collectibles. Very good overall condition. Warm patina of the wood, original hardware.
