Small Louis XVI Period Chest Of Drawers
Here is a piece of furniture that is easy to fit into any apartment, even the smallest, a Louis XVI period chest of drawers (two drawers). It is made of mahogany, partly solid, and two-tone veneer, on a pine frame. Copper threads as well as handles and lock entries, all original, enhance the front. A gray marble in perfect condition creates a nice contrast with the warm tones of the furniture. Period lock and key work. Slight and discreet cracks on the sides attest to the number of changes of seasons, the furniture has never been touched, it seems. It is in a very nice original condition.
