Charming and decorative still life depicting a sumptuous bouquet of chrysanthemums in pastel shades (yellow, white, mauve) arranged in a green vase on a sea green drape. Oil on canvas signed lower right "P. Remy" for Paul Remy, a French painter active in the second half of the 20th century, renowned for his elegant floral compositions. The work is presented in its original molded wooden frame with a golden patina, typical of the 1950s-1970s, which superbly highlights the composition and adds an additional touch of refinement.
