Artist: Kakiémon
This dish is part of a set of 4. It is made of wheel-thrown porcelain, glazed with superb enamels. The meaning of the decoration of stylized flowers and what appear to be books has escaped us. Japanese work from the Edo period. Underneath the apocryphal mark of the Chinese Emperor Qianlong. Good condition. Diameter: 168mm The price is for a single dish, but the other 3 are available.
