The large red sail sharp as a wing, its typical boats, the light of the sky, the sea... immerse us in the air of old Cannes from the Belle Époque. Worker by day and student in the evening classes at the School of Decorative Arts in the city of Nice then Paris, he exhibited for the first time at the age of 45. In 1902, he founded with a group of passionate workers of art: the Association of Fine Arts of Cannes of which he is the general secretary. Through this association, the painters of the region are highlighted by an annual exhibition.
Painter of light with a total mastery of colors, Louis Pastour uses the knife technique to bring his works to life.
