On the back of the canvas, top left, there is a label indicating the artist’s participation in the “SALON TUNISIEN” (perhaps the Salon of 1927, “old ash tree from Kabylie” not being presented at the Salon of 1926). Our painting is a perfect example of the work of a female painter whose talent was, in her time, lamentably ignored. Beautiful painted and patinated wooden frame from the period. Good condition. 750 euros.
