Aubusson tapestry cartoon with floral decoration, used as a model for the seat of a Louis XV style armchair. 19th century.
Gouache on paper laid down on canvas and later mounted on a stretcher frame.
Later gilded frame.
Note: halo in the upper left corner and rippling of the paper on the corners, visible in the photos.
