Pair of gilt and patinated bronze candelabras with two light arms depicting a Nubian tightrope walker standing on one leg on a recumbent gilt bronze amphora. This Nubian holds in his hands a bundle of lictors at the ends of which are fixed two sockets. Two gilt bronze laurel wreaths hang from the sockets. The whole rests on a shower base in black and breccia marble with 4 feet forming lion's paws with gilded claws.
