18th century walnut coffee table inlaid with interlacing Inlaid decoration of interlacing in accolades on the top with the curved contours of this beautiful and rare 18th century table in fruitwood, walnut, cherry, plum, maple. The contrasting plum fillets surrounded by a maple border delimit reserves in burl and burled walnut. The apron, also scalloped, is decorated with a vigorous sculpture linking shells and volutes. Beautiful curved and molded base, the base of the feet ending in a sphere enclosed in eagle claws. A small drawer is located on one of the faces. Work from the Rhine Valley. 18th century period.
