Curved Inlaid Desk 19th Century
Floral inlaid decoration on all three sides for this curved secretary chest of drawers. The corners are canted and adorned with a baluster-shaped pilaster.
The flap, also inlaid on the inside, reveals an arrangement of 4 small drawers and a wicket door with a gendarme hat pediment revealing a small theater.This well-integrated arrangement was made later.The interior of the three large drawers is sheathed in a hazelnut-colored velvet fabric.
