Important glass pokal of truncated cone shape. On the shaft two engraved medallions with in their center, on one side a gorgon, Medusa? on the other side a coat of arms, the sides are decorated with composed bouquets integrating a bunch of grapes, the whole is topped with a maxim in German. On the lid a frieze of foliage scrolls, flowers and bunches of grapes, p. Baluster base with circular base. Provenance collection of a wine château in Alsace.
