17th Century Carved And Gilded Oak Frame
Exceptional carved and gilded oak frame from the Louis XIII period. Slightly oval in shape, it has a relief decoration of bay leaves alternating with oak leaves ending above with two flowers and ribbons. The surround is decorated with foliated oves. It has retained its original gilding, to be restored in places if desired, the whole is in good condition. 17th century period. The interior dimensions (rebate): 45.5 x 41
