Very pretty and atypical covered pot in Japanese porcelain (supposed).
Rests on 3 feet.
The grip of the lid is a lying shishi, the 2 false handles, shishi heads.
Magnificent dark brown glaze leaving 2 cartouches each with a flamboyant phoenix stylized in blue underglaze.
Restoration to the neck in gold kintsugi.
Restoration (gluing) and shock under the inner rim of the lid. Elegant overall presentation.
The restoration in gold kintsugi gives real beauty to the object.
