Finely carved Japanese bone okimono depicting Shōki, the legendary demon queller, standing in traditional robes and holding a staff. Characterized by his stern expression, long beard, and formal Chinese-style attire, this figure represents the protective deity revered for warding off evil spirits. Unsigned, Meiji period (late 19th century), with rich patina and excellent detailing throughout.
