Oil on canvas, measuring 100x70 cm, painted by Cosimo Privato around the 1930s. The work depicts a view of a Venetian canal with a gondolier. Cosimo Privato was an internationally renowned artist and participated many times in the Venice International Art Biennale (1926, 1928, 1930, 1932, 1934, 1936, 1938). His artistic activity is varied: the Rome Quadrennial of 1035, exhibitions in Prague, Vienna, Warsaw, Athens and Sofia with works from the Biennale. He participated in all the trade union exhibitions and the Opera Bevilacqua - La Masa in Venice, personal exhibitions in Venice, Padua, Trieste and Bergamo. These listed are a few examples of the many exhibitions held throughout his artistic career.
The work is signed in the lower right-hand corner and the state of conservation is good.
