ARCONS PISTOL MODEL 1777 1st MODEL FOR THE CAVALRY AND THE DRAGONS
Pistol from the National Manufacture of ST ETIENNE.
Lock perfectly marked and stamped with the crowned punch of the controller.
3 of the screws probably changed.
Round barrel, punched 78 and attenuated punches of the controller, marking on the barrel tail missing.
Original wood with some small dents without depth.
Perfectly functional mechanics including the tension of the springs. Original ramrod present. Belt hook missing.
The vintage 78 is surprising on this model because mass production did not begin until 1779 according to the writings. Pre-production production
